DETAILS

On October 16, 2023, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service finalized a rule removing 21 species from the list of threatened and endangered species under the Endangered Species Act because of extinction. Each year on November 30, people all around the world take time to remember plants and animals that have gone extinct in our lifetime. Waterspirit has assembled a group of caring people who have dedicated their lives to protecting nature to discuss what we have lost and what we can do to protect species remaining in peril. Join Pat Heaney from The Watershed Institute, Jenna Reynolds from Save Coastal Wildlife, Larissa Smith from the Conserve Wildlife Foundation of NJ and Anne Price from Waterspirit as we mourn what we have lost, contemplate what we can do and offer support and hope for all creation. Together we can make a difference. *Zoom link will be delivered in confirmation email after completing registration. Any questions may be sent to aprice@waterspirit.org.
