Join Waterspirit and self described "Trash Assemblage" Artist, Lisa Bagwell. Lisa's original works of art are created using things people would ordinarily throw away. In fact, many of her award-winning pieces were created using trash collected from NJ shores during beach cleanups. So, not only are we reducing waste by reusing this trash, we are protecting our precious oceans! Way to go Lisa!!! Wouldn't you love to join us for a workshop with this extraordinarily talented person? Join Lisa and her collections of unwanted items and get creative building your own sculpture. Though Lisa and Waterspirit will supply materials, tools and helpful suggestion in this experimental and fun workshop, we highly encourage you to bring your own beach trash you've collected or single use items from your home such as bottle caps, straws, etc. Let's keep our beaches clean, our oceans free of debris and all wildlife healthy! Appropriate for adults and children over 8 years of age. All participants under 17 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone.
